For children born on or after September 1, 2021
the father or mother who has maintained continuous resident registration in Gongju City for at least 1 year prior to the child's birth (or adoption) date, and who registers the child (newborn, or child under 6 adopted under the Special Act on Adoption) in Gongju City

1. If registered in Gongju City for less than 1 year from the child's birth/adoption date, eligibility is recognized once registration reaches 1 year and 6 months.
2. For 2nd or subsequent children, all previous children must have been registered for 1+ year; if less, eligibility applies after 1 year and 6 months.

• First, 3 million won (150/150 installment payment)
• Second, 5 million won (200/150/150 three installments)
• Third, 10 million won (four installments of 2.5 million won each)

• (Cases where a parent or mother has been registered as a resident for more than one year as of the date of birth)
  The first childbirth subsidy shall be provided by the 25th of the month following the month in which the application date belongs, and the remaining childbirth subsidy shall be divided into one year after the first payment date and provided at the time of one year
• (Cases where a parent or mother has registered as a resident for less than one year as of the date of birth)
  The first childbirth subsidy shall be provided by the 25th of the following month when the date of transfer has elapsed for one year and six months, and the remaining childbirth subsidy shall be divided into one year after the first payment date

Children (newborns and adopted children under the Special Act on Adoption), fathers, or mothers must continue to have resident registration in Gongju City until the final support of the childbirth subsidy is provided.
